Copyright and takedowns
We respect copyright and expect users to do the same. If you believe a page on Hody ID uses your copyrighted work without permission (for example a song, image, video or font), send us a notice and we’ll review it promptly. You can also flag the page with the report button in its corner to alert us quickly.
What to include in a notice
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- The work you believe is infringed (a link or description).
- The page and, if possible, the exact file or link on it (for example https://…/username).
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next
If the notice is complete, we remove or disable the content and let the page owner know. Owners who believe the removal was a mistake can send a counter-notice with the same details, explaining why, and consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts where they live. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are suspended.
Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can make the sender liable for damages. If you’re not sure whether something infringes, consider asking a lawyer first.
