Terms of Service
These terms apply to Hody ID at https://hodyid.site, operated by HodyID (“we”). By creating an account or publishing a page you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. Your account
You sign in with Discord and must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country. You’re responsible for everything done with your account. One person may hold one username; usernames can’t be sold, transferred or held to resell.
2. Subscriptions and payment
A page is public only while its subscription is active. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel from Manage billing in your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your page stays live until the paid period ends.
Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable for partial periods. If you’re in the EU or UK, you agree that the service starts immediately after payment, which may end your right to withdraw from the purchase once the page is published.
If a subscription ends, your page stops being public and your username stays reserved for 30 days, after which it can be claimed by someone else. An unpaid username is reserved for 24 hours.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or write (text, images, videos, music, fonts, links). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy and display it only as needed to run the service and show your page. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept briefly in backups.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you publish, including music, fonts and images you upload. Many fonts and songs are licensed for personal use only; don’t upload them unless their license allows use on a website.
4. Rules
You may not use Hody ID to publish or link to:
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- impersonation of another person, brand or organization;
- harassment, threats, hate speech or content that targets private individuals;
- sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities), or explicit sexual content;
- scams, phishing, malware, or pages that collect passwords or payment details;
- anything illegal in your country or ours.
You also may not attack, overload, scrape or try to get around the limits or security of the service. Anyone can report a page with the flag in its corner.
5. Suspension and termination
We may remove content or suspend a page that breaks these terms, with or without notice. A suspended page is not refunded if the suspension was caused by a serious or repeated breach. You can stop using the service at any time; cancel your subscription first.
6. Third-party services
Pages can show content from other services (Discord, Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitch, Steam, GitHub and others). Their terms apply to that content, and we aren’t responsible for it or for their availability.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by contract.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. For important changes we’ll give notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
