Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Hody ID (operated by HodyID) collects, why, and your choices. We collect as little as we can.
If you have an account
- From Discord when you sign in: your Discord user ID, username, avatar, avatar decoration and email address. We use them to sign you in and show your avatar. We never get your Discord password.
- Your page: the username, text, links, settings and files you add. It’s public once your page is live.
- Billing: Stripe processes payments and gives us your customer ID, subscription status and renewal date. We never receive your card number.
- Guestbook: messages visitors leave on your page, which you can approve or delete.
If you visit a page
- View counts: we set a small cookie so one visit is counted once every 12 hours. It contains no personal data.
- Guestbook messages and reports: the name, message, reason and optional email you type. To stop spam we store a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
- Error reports: if the site crashes in your browser, the error message and page path are sent to us so we can fix it.
- Embedded content: music, videos and widgets from YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, TikTok, Discord (via Lanyard), Steam, Twitch and GitHub may load from those services, which can set their own cookies and see your IP address under their own privacy policies.
Why we use it
To provide the service you asked for (your account and page), to take payments, to keep the site safe from abuse, and to fix bugs. We don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage (servers in the EU, Paris).
- Stripe: payments.
- Discord: sign-in.
- Our hosting provider and Cloudflare: serving the website.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to delete it (billing records are kept as long as tax law requires). Guestbook messages stay until you or the page owner delete them. Reports and error logs are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email abdelalilou2020@gmail.com from the address on your Discord account. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The service isn’t meant for children under 13, or under the age Discord allows in your country.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and announce important changes on the site.
